Shaping the future of graduate recruitment through a bold, vibrant, and playful approach
Give A Grad A Go is a recruitment agency that specialises in the recruitment of graduates and young professionals. They came to Plug & Play wanting a complete overhaul to better attract their target audience and represent the business.
The speech bubble is familiar within Give A Grad’s target audience and represents the company’s approachability and the ‘keeping in touch’ culture. I found this to be integral to the brand and developed a modernised speech bubble as a metaphor for Give A Grad A Go’s open and friendly communication style. The rest of the brand centred around being playful, bold and vibrant to facilitate talent acquisition and set 'Give' apart from their more corporately-aligned competitors.
They wanted the website and portal to be sector-leading to attract both graduate employers and job seekers. The ease of browsing jobs would impact the number of graduates searching on the site, which in turn would impact the number of employers posting jobs. I created a split screen view, with the list of job ads on the left and a preview of the selected ad on the right to facilitate this and make it easier.
I designed two platforms - one for employers and one for graduate recruits. The user experience of the portals was key to creating seamless and enjoyable user journeys which ranged from applying for jobs and setting up alerts, to posting job adverts and managing applicants.
